In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons basketball team scored a big 56-31 triumph over the Kennedy Cougars.
The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Capitol was trounced by Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA), 69-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 75-42 non-league win over Wright (New Orleans, LA).
