In Friday's non-league contest, the host King Crusaders basketball team scored a close 55-52 triumph over the Saginaw United .
The Crusaders (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Avondale was tipped by Fitzgerald (Warren, MI), 48-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the Central Wolves (Bay City, MI) in a Saginaw Valley contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Saginaw United will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
