In Friday's non-league contest, the host Milby Buffs basketball team scored a close 48-45 triumph over the Lee Ganders.

The Buffs (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against O'Connell (Galveston, TX). The Buccaneers go into the non-league contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, O'Connell nipped Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX), 81-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Ganders battle the Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Lee will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 58-48 non-league win over Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA).
