Texas High School Basketball - O'Connell bests Milby

December 27, 2024: Galveston, TX 77550

The O'Connell Buccaneers basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Milby Buffs to 59 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Buccaneers now possess a 18-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Chambers for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. O'Connell will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Shepherd (Shepherd, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Milby falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Buffs travel to Channelview (Channelview, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-13. Channelview won 55-52 in their recent non-league game against Dayton (Dayton, TX)
