Maryland High School Basketball - New Hope Academy National nudges Southern Maryland Christian Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Hope Academy National Tigers (Landover Hills, MD) and the host Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD), observed New Hope Academy National's basketball team edge Southern Maryland Christian Academy by a score of 71-70.

The Tigers (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Southern Maryland Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record.
