In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Paulding Panthers basketball team scored a good 56-41 triumph over the North Central Eagles.
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Miller City (Miller City, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Miller City was toppled by Tinora (Defiance, OH), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH) in a Buckeye Border contest, on Thursday, January 2. North Central will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Cadets go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH).
