In Friday's non-league contest, the host Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team scored a good 64-47 triumph over the Piedmont Academy Cougars.
The Crusaders (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Brentwood topped Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Piedmont Academy will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 69-35 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Statesboro, GA).
