The Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) basketball edged the host Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN), 46-42 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Pike Central will play a Wildcats team coming off a 48-45 league loss to Greensburg (Greensburg, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
