Louisiana High School Basketball - Shepherd triumphant over Reeves

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) and the host Reeves Raiders (Reeves, LA), observed Shepherd's basketball team overwhelm Reeves by a score of 89-61.

The Pirates (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Kelly Catholic was routed by O'Connell (Galveston, TX), 81-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Reeves will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to Shepherd (Shepherd, TX).
