California High School Basketball - West Valley knocks off Schurr

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) and the visiting Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), observed West Valley's basketball team overcome Schurr by a score of 72-60.

The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Viewpoint gained a win over Grand Terrace (Grand Terrace, CA), 75-54, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Schurr falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Spartans host Grand Terrace (Grand Terrace, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Grand Terrace lost 75-54 in their recent non-league bout against Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA)
