In Friday's non-league contest, the host Walker Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a close 80-75 triumph over the Seckinger Jaguars.
The Mustangs (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Broncos go into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, East Forsyth nipped Murray County (Chatsworth, GA), 77-65, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Seckinger will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Bulldoggs go into the contest with a 12-2 record after their 68-35 non-league win over Brookwood (Snellville, GA).
