North Carolina High School Basketball - South Johnston nips South Garner

In Friday's non-league test, the host South Johnston Trojans basketball squad scored a tight 52-49 win over the South Garner Titans.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. South Johnston will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 9-1 record after their 66-43 non-league win over Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC).

The Titans (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Cape Fear Christian Academy held off West Johnston (Benson, NC), 52-47, in a non-league test.
