The Mustangs (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH). The Redskins come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Wapakoneta dropped by Findlay (Findlay, OH), 33-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Waite Indians (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo City challenge, on Monday, January 6. Lima Senior will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 35-27 non-league win over Belmont (Dayton, OH).
