The Cubs (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Carver Collegiate Academy prevailed over St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA), 65-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 75-68 non-league loss to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA).
