Illinois High School Basketball - Calumet Christian triumphant over Maranatha Christian Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Calumet Christian Patriots (Griffith, IN) and the host Maranatha Christian Academy Huskies (Mattoon, IL), observed Calumet Christian's basketball team overwhelm Maranatha Christian Academy by a score of 73-2.

The Patriots (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mid-Missouri HomeSchool (Jefferson City, MO). The Mavericks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool was routed by Berean Christian Academy (Monett, MO), 60-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep Frank (Rosamond, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Maranatha Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
