Texas High School Basketball - Oakwood nips Centerville

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Oakwood Panthers basketball team scored a close 30-25 triumph over the Centerville Bulldogs.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Coolidge (Coolidge, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Region III District 24 contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Coolidge was tipped by Troy (Troy, TX), 54-16, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Zavalla Eagles (Zavalla, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 27 contest, on Friday, January 3. Centerville will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record.
