In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers basketball team scored a close 43-36 triumph over the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans.

The Brothers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Genesee (Camillus, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, West Genesee was tipped by Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY), 81-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. East Syracuse-Minoa will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Cyclones go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 66-36 league loss to South Jefferson (Adams, NY).
