The Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) basketball were winner over the host Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), 44-31 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Episcopal for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Grassfield will play a Titans team coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Titans record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Colonial Forge falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Grafton lost 57-27 in their recent non-league bout against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)
