The Crawford Pirates basketball team scored 33 points and limited the host Thorndale Bulldogs to 21 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bruceville-Eddy for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Crawford will confront a Eagles team coming off a 45-4 non-league loss to Thorndale (Thorndale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.

With the loss, Thorndale falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McDade (McDade, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 7-3. McDade won 39-35 in their recent league game against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX)
