Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower holds off Cypress Ranch

The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Cypress Ranch Mustangs to 31 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa Colony for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Fort Bend Hightower will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 46-29 league win over Angleton (Angleton, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Cypress Ranch falls to 16-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 7-12. Almeta Crawford lost 61-25 in their recent league game against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX)
