Louisiana High School Basketball - Destrehan holds off John Curtis Christian

The Destrehan Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host John Curtis Christian Patriots to 60 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fontainebleau for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Destrehan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-26 non-league loss to Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, John Curtis Christian falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Green Wave go into the game with a record of 10-5. Ponchatoula won 58-35 in their recent non-league game against Carroll (Monroe, LA)
