In Friday's non-league test, the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) basketball squad knocked off the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), by a score of 49-37.
Next, the Knights encounter the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Fieldcrest will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Bruins come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 55-34 non-league win over Orion (Orion, IL).
The Panthers (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards come into the Tri-County test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Henry-Senachwine beat Flanagan/Woodland (Flanagan, IL), 42-27, in a non-league test.
