The Forest Bearcats basketball squad (Forest, MS), lost 45-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS)

With the victory, Ridgeland advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Titans host Columbus (Columbus, MS) to meet the Falcons in a 6A Region 2 battle on Monday, December 30. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 3-7. Columbus lost 53-28 in their recent league battle against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS)

The Bearcats now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yazoo County for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. Forest will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 41-23 non-league win over Raymond (Raymond, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
