The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Fossil Ridge Panthers to 42 in the Scots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scots now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Highland Park will play a Mustangs team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Fossil Ridge falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Aledo (Aledo, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 5A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 12-10. Aledo won 53-47 in their recent non-league game against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX)
