The West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) basketball crushed the host Frazee Hornets (Frazee, MN), 71-48 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Grove Lutheran for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. West Central Area will play a Grovers team coming off a 60-54 non-league win over New York Mills (New York Mills, MN). The Grovers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Frazee falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Roseau (Roseau, MN) to play the Rams in a AA Section 8 bout on Friday, January 3. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Roseau lost 73-42 in their recent non-league bout against Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN)
