The McDonald Blue Devils basketball squad (McDonald, OH), was crushed 47-17 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Girard Indians (Girard, OH)

With the victory, Girard advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Indians host LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 7-2. LaBrae won 56-28 in their recent league battle against Brookfield (Brookfield, OH)

The Blue Devils now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windham for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. McDonald will meet a Bombers squad coming off a 64-21 league loss to Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 2-7.
