In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Spring Hill Panthers basketball team scored a close 36-29 triumph over the Harmony Eagles.

The Panthers (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region II District 16 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Pine Tree nipped Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 71-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Harmony will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 1-17 record after their 28-7 league loss to Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX).
