The Hillcrest Patriots basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Hernando Tigers to 34 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now possess a 20-0 record. They play next when they travel to New Hope for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Hillcrest will confront a Trojans team coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Germantown (Madison, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Hernando falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Oxford (Oxford, MS) to confront the Chargers in a 7A Region 1 game on Friday, January 3. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 12-3.
