With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Vikings host Lake (Uniontown, OH) to face the Blue Streaks in a Federal match on Saturday, January 4. The Blue Streaks enter the match with a record of 2-8. Lake lost 37-30 in their recent non-league match against West Branch (Beloit, OH)

The Wolverines now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tiverton for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Western Hills will face a Tigers squad coming off a 48-35 non-league win over St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
