In Friday's non-league contest, the host New Ulm Eagles basketball team scored a good 73-63 triumph over the John Marshall Rockets.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cotter (Winona, MN). The Ramblers go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Cotter topped St. Charles (St. Charles, MN), 97-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets confront the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. John Marshall will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Komets go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 57-27 non-league win over Pine Island (Pine Island, MN).
