The Roosevelt Roughriders basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs to 30 in the Roughriders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Space Coast for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Roosevelt will confront a Vipers team coming off a 38-31 non-league win over Dunbar (Washington, DC). The Vipers record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, KIPP DC Legacy College Prep falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Anacostia (Washington, DC) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Indians go into the game with a record of 2-6. Anacostia lost 64-36 in their recent non-league game against Space Coast (Cocoa, FL)
