Arizona High School Basketball - Sahuaro overwhelms Marcos de Niza

The Sahuaro Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Marcos de Niza Padres to 17 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Desert View for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Sahuaro will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 46-28 non-league loss to Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Marcos de Niza falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Padres travel to Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ) to confront the Broncos in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 4-7. Poston Butte won 70-8 in their recent non-league game against Cholla (Tucson, AZ)
