In Friday's non-league contest, the host Montville Mustangs basketball team scored a big 50-24 triumph over the Wayne Hills Patriots.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Wayne Valley was trounced by Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ), 57-16, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Wayne Hills will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 35-23 non-league win over Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ).
