California High School Basketball - Notre Dame (SO) sneaks past Murrieta Valley

The Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) basketball edged the host Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA), 54-47 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Oceanside for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Notre Dame (SO) will play a Pirates team coming off a 66-32 non-league win over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Murrieta Valley falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Scripps Ranch won 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA)
