In Friday's non-league contest, the host Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored a good 54-43 triumph over the Plainfield North Tigers.
The Ironmen (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack go into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Saint Ignatius College Prep topped Quincy (Quincy, IL), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Plainfield North will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL).
