North Carolina High School Basketball - Pasquotank County trounced by Perquimans

Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), 62-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Perquimans advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Pirates host Currituck County (Barco, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Knights enter the match with a record of 7-2. Currituck County lost 50-45 in their recent non-league match against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)

The Panthers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Pasquotank County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
