California High School Basketball - Poly thwarts Tahquitz

December 27, 2024: Riverside, CA 92506

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) and the visiting Tahquitz Titans (Hemet, CA), observed Poly's basketball team knock off Tahquitz by a score of 54-45.

The Bears (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA). The Vikings come into the Ivy challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Moreno Valley prevailed over Legend (Parker, CO), 58-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans encounter the Elsinore Tigers (Wildomar, CA) in a Mountain Pass challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Tahquitz will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 64-32 non-league loss to Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA).
