Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Quaker Valley trounced by Shaler Area

The Quaker Valley Quakers basketball squad (Leetsdale, PA), was crushed 54-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the victory, Shaler Area advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Titans travel to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Sunday, December 29. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 4-2. Norwin won 55-21 in their recent non-league battle against Connellsville (Connellsville, PA)

The Quakers now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Thursday, January 2. Quaker Valley will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 48-41 league loss to Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
