The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ray Ray Jays (Ray, ND) and the host White Shield Warriors (Roseglen, ND), observed Ray's basketball team overwhelm White Shield by a score of 73-23.

The Ray Jays (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Drake/Anamoose (Drake, ND). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Drake/Anamoose trounced Divide County (Crosby, ND), 60-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Garrison Troopers (Garrison, ND) in a B District 8 challenge, on Monday, January 6. White Shield will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
