Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Patriot Warriors (Jurupa Valley, CA) and the host San Gorgonio Spartans (San Bernardino, CA), saw Patriot's soccer squad hold off San Gorgonio by a count of 1-0.

The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Miller (Fontana, CA). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Miller was edged by Claremont (Claremont, CA), 12-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Kaiser Cats (Fontana, CA) in a battle, on Monday, January 13. San Gorgonio will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
