The Steele Comets bounced the host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions ice hockey squad by a tally of 11-1 in Friday's non-league match.

Next, the Comets clash with the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 28. Steele will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Invaders enter the match with a 8-6 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).

The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Bombers enter the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Kenston was ripped by Roosevelt (Kent, OH), 6-0, in a non-league match.
