The Burr & Burton Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Hadley Luzerne Eagles to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Burr & Burton will battle a Golden Horde team coming off a 74-34 non-league win over Cambridge (Cambridge, NY). The Golden Horde record now stands at 4-1.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake George (Lake George, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 2 Adirondack contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Lake George prevailed over Galway (Galway, NY), 56-46, in a non-league contest.
