With the win, Rochelle upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Hornets travel to May (May, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-6.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Grape Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 42-39 non-league loss to Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX).
