Texas High School Basketball - Lufkin tipped by Kingwood Park

The Kingwood Park Panthers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Lufkin Panthers to 42 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulshear for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 28. Kingwood Park will meet a Chargers team coming off a 39-34 non-league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 14-6.
The Panthers (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Maidens enter the 5A Region II District 16 contest with a 7-9 record.
