In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Aberdeen Eagles (Aberdeen, MD) basketball squad edged the host Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD), by a count of 58-54.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD). The Mustangs go into the Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, C. Milton Wright held off Crofton (Gambrills, MD), 54-37, in a non-league outing.
The Poets now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Carver Vo-Tech for a Baltimore City outing on Tuesday, January 10.
