In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies (Isle, MN), by a margin of 75-28.
The Gobblers (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Pioneers go into the AA Section 7 outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Pierz smashed Greenway (Coleraine, MN), 79-36, in a league outing.
The Huskies now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Ogilvie for a A Section 5 outing on Tuesday, January 17.
