The Wildcats now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowlett for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Sulphur Springs will confront a Eagles team coming off a 80-52 non-league loss to Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies come into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Chapin trounced Lamar (Houston, TX), 53-40, in a non-league battle.
