The Ascension Episcopal basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Westgate Tigers to 42 in the non-league victory on Wednesday.
The now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Ascension Episcopal will battle a Warriors team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas Aquinas was nudged by Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
