New York High School Basketball - Bayside nudges Broome Street Academy

Bayside Commodores (Bayside, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Broome Street Academy Warriors (New York, NY), 50-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bayside upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Commodores host Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, NY) to clash with the Lions in a PSAL Queens A II bout on Thursday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Seward Park Bears (New York, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Broome Street Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 106-40 league loss to Bergtraum (New York, NY).
