Bishop Kenny Crusaders (Jacksonville, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA), 57-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Kenny upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Holy Cross lost 67-56 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach, FL)

Next up, the Cadets play the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Benedictine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Dolphins come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 46-42 non-league loss to Beach (Savannah, GA).
